Flat rugs and carpet floor mats, about 2mm thick, in sizes from a 0.4m x 0.6m doormat to a 2m x 3m living room rug. Most designs come in 13 sizes, so the same pattern can run from the entrance to the living room.
Which rug size fits
As a guide, measure the area you want to cover and leave a border of bare floor around the rug.
- Entrance, kitchen or bedside: 0.4m x 0.6m to 0.6m x 0.9m.
- Under a coffee table: 1.2m x 1.6m to 1.4m x 2m, so the table sits fully on the rug.
- Living room with a 3-seater sofa: 1.6m x 2.3m, or 2m x 3m so the front legs of the sofa sit on the rug too.
- Corridors: 0.7m x 1.4m or 0.8m x 1.6m.
Why a flat rug
At about 2mm thick, these rugs lie flat, are easy to vacuum and slide under most doors without catching. A thin rug also dries faster than a deep-pile one if you need to wipe up a spill, which helps in Singapore's humidity.

Rugs & Carpets: common questions
What size rug do I need for my living room?
For a 3-seater sofa, a 1.6m x 2.3m rug fits under the coffee table, and a 2m x 3m rug also takes the front legs of the sofa. Under a coffee table alone, 1.2m x 1.6m to 1.4m x 2m is usually enough.
How thick are your rugs?
About 2mm. They are flat carpet floor mats, so they lie flat, are easy to vacuum, and fit under most doors.
Does the same design come in different sizes?
Yes. Most designs come in 13 sizes, from 0.4m x 0.6m to 2m x 3m, so you can use the same pattern at the entrance and in the living room. Each rug's page lists its sizes.
How do I clean a flat rug?
Vacuum it regularly, blot spills at once with a clean cloth rather than rubbing, and turn it every few months so it wears evenly.
What if the size I want has sold out?
If the size you ordered has sold out when you buy, we contact you the next working day to let you know.
Can I see the rugs before I buy?
Yes. Visit our showroom at Mega@Woodlands, 39 Woodlands Close, #08-66, Singapore 737856, and WhatsApp +65 9386 8676 before you come to confirm the opening hours.
