Dining tables in sintered stone, marble and tempered glass, from compact 1m tables to 2m tables for up to eight, including round and extendable designs. Many are made to order in your choice of size, top colour and stand, and you can see them at our Mega@Woodlands showroom.
Choosing a dining table top
- Sintered stone resists heat, stains and scratches and needs no sealing, so it suits daily family meals. See all sintered stone dining tables.
- Marble has the veining and cool feel many people want, and needs a little more care, because acidic spills like lemon or vinegar can mark it. Some of our marble tops are cultured marble; each product page says which.
- Tempered glass wipes clean easily, and several glass tables are in ready stock, such as the Fendee and the Wedding.
Round, extendable or rectangular
Round tables, like the Toro and Doji, which come with a free lazy Susan from 120cm, suit square dining areas and make conversation easier. Extendable tables, like the MHF004 and the ET01, stay compact day to day and open up when guests come. Rectangular tables make the most of long dining areas.
Which size fits
As a rough guide, allow about 60cm of table edge per person and about 90cm between the table and the wall. A 1.2m table seats 2 to 4, 1.4m seats 4 (6 at a squeeze), 1.6m to 1.8m seats 6, and 2m seats 6 to 8. Round tables of 100cm to 110cm seat 4, and 130cm and above seat 6. Measure your lift and doorways too: a table that cannot go up in the lift is carried up the stairs at an extra charge.
Made to order or ready stock
Most of our tables are made to order in your choice of size, top colour and stand, and reach Singapore in about 6 to 8 weeks, a few in 4 to 6. Ready-stock sizes are marked on each product page. Customised orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed, so if you are deciding between colours, see them at our showroom first: Mega@Woodlands, 39 Woodlands Close, #08-66, Singapore 737856. Dining Tables: common questions
What size dining table fits an HDB or condo dining area?
Many HDB and condo dining areas suit a 1.4m to 1.8m rectangular table, or a round table of 110cm to 130cm. Leave about 90cm between the table and the wall so chairs can pull out, and check your lift and doorways before you order.
Which dining table top copes best with Singapore's humidity?
Sintered stone and tempered glass: neither absorbs moisture, and both wipe clean. Natural marble is porous, so wipe spills straight away; cultured marble resists moisture but can mark under heat. See our
sintered stone dining tables.
Sintered stone or marble: which should I choose?
Sintered stone if you want a low-maintenance top that handles heat, stains and scratches; marble if you want natural veining and do not mind a little more care. The
Naas,
Caro and
Wex I come in both, so you can compare them at the same size.
What dining table shape is best for a small space?
A round or extendable table. A round table fits more people around it in a square space and has no corners to bump into; an extendable one stays small day to day, like the
ET03, which opens from 1.2m to 1.5m.
How long does a dining table take to arrive?
Ready-stock tables go out on the delivery date and time you choose at checkout. Made-to-order tables reach Singapore in about 6 to 8 weeks, a few in 4 to 6, and each product page shows its own lead time. Delivery slots and charges are in our
FAQ.
Can I customise a dining table?
Yes, on many tables: the length, the top colour and the stand finish, and on some, like the
Jouse and
Naas, lengths of 2.2m and 2.4m on request. Customised orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
Can I see the dining tables before I buy?
Yes. Visit our showroom at Mega@Woodlands, 39 Woodlands Close, #08-66, Singapore 737856, and WhatsApp +65 9386 8676 before you come to confirm the opening hours.
