Double Chanel Sintered Stone Dining Table

A sintered stone dining table for six to eight, with a glossy white top on a shiny gold stand; the top size and stand colour can be made to order.

The base is the feature here: two sculpted gold pedestals made of interlocking C-shapes, with a thin gold trim running around the edge of the top. It suits a dining area you want to dress up, and pairs best with upholstered chairs on gold legs, in cream, white or a deep velvet colour.

Because the stand sits on two pedestals rather than four corner legs, chairs tuck in along the sides without catching on legs. The white sintered stone top has a soft grey vein, so it reads like marble but wipes clean like a kitchen counter.

  • Top: sintered stone, shiny surface, white with grey veining

  • Stand: twin pedestal base in electroplated shiny gold

How many it seats

  • 1.8m: 6 people
  • 2m: 6 to 8 people

A rough guide: about 60cm of table edge per person, and about 90cm between the table and the wall so chairs can pull out. A 1.8m table needs a dining area of about 3.6m by 2.7m to seat six comfortably; if your HDB or condo dining area is shorter than that, the 1.8m is the safer choice over the 2m.

Is sintered stone good for a dining table?

For daily family meals, yes. Sintered stone is made by pressing and firing natural minerals at very high heat, so it does not absorb spills, does not need sealing, and handles heat and scratches better than natural marble. That matters in Singapore's humidity, where porous tops can stain. The trade-off is the edges: a hard knock on a corner can chip it, so lift the table when moving it rather than dragging it. Chairs to pair it with

Gold legs and soft upholstery carry the look through. It pairs well with the Nana button-tufted wingback chairs, the CK Premium velvet chairs (off white in ready stock), or the Dess chairs with their gold X-frame legs. See all dining chairs.

Care

Sintered stone: wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild dish soap, then dry. It needs no sealing. Use a trivet for pots straight off the stove, avoid hard knocks on the edges, and lift the table rather than drag it. Wipe the gold stand with a soft dry cloth only; abrasive cleaners can scratch the electroplated finish.
