Adjustable Electric Recliner Bed Base

The Smart Recliner Bed: an electric adjustable bed base with zero-gravity, anti-snore, TV and reading, yoga and rock-to-sleep modes and whisper-quiet motors, ready to deliver fast.

This is the base only. Your mattress sits on a slatted frame that lifts at the head and at the feet, and each preset mode moves it into position, so you are not stacking pillows to read, watch TV or raise your legs at the end of the day.

It suits a bedroom where the bed is also where you read or watch shows, and a couple where one partner snores. Before you order, check two things: a power point near the bed, and a mattress that can bend with the base. Foam mattresses work; stiff spring mattresses usually do not.

What are the downsides of an adjustable bed?

There are a few to weigh up. An adjustable bed costs more than a fixed bed frame, and it needs a power point close by. It only works with a mattress that can flex, which usually means foam or latex rather than a traditional spring mattress. The motor and frame make the base heavier than a plain frame, so plan where it goes before delivery rather than moving it often. If those suit your home, the gain is a bed you can sit up in properly. Pairs well with

The MHome Uber Sleep Foam Mattress is made for both normal and adjustable bed frames and comes in the same 106, 150 and 180 x 190cm sizes. For the bedside, the Rome three-drawer unit is 60cm high, and the Tutu sintered stone side table is a compact 40cm across. See all bedroom furniture.

Care

Wipe the frame with a soft dry cloth. Keep the space under and around the base clear of bags, cables and pets before you lower it, and unplug it before you move or clean around the motor.
