Velvet: brush or vacuum gently in the direction of the pile, blot spills straight away, and keep it out of strong direct sun.
Fabric: vacuum with a brush attachment every week or two, blot spills at once with a clean cloth rather than rubbing, and keep it out of strong direct sun to slow fading.
Leather: dust with a soft dry cloth, wipe spills at once, and keep it away from direct sun and air-con vents so it does not dry out.
