A rectangular high-gloss coffee table with drawers, 130cm long and 70cm wide, in black or white, on a gold frame.
The drawers are the point of this table. Two wide drawers with slim gold handles run along the front, so remotes, coasters and chargers go out of sight and the glossy top stays clear. The body sits on an open gold frame rather than solid sides, which keeps a 130cm table from looking heavy.
At 130 x 70cm it suits the front of a three-seater or an L-shaped sofa in an HDB or condo living room. The white brightens a darker room; the black sits well with a leather or cream sofa. Leave about 40 to 45cm between the sofa and the table so the drawers can open and you can walk past.
In a smaller Singapore living room, usually yes. A coffee table with storage takes the clutter that would otherwise sit on the top or on a separate cabinet, so you can skip one piece of furniture. Drawers suit small items such as remotes, coasters and cables better than open shelves, because nothing is on show. The trade-off is space in front: you need room to pull the drawers out, so check the gap between your sofa and the TV console first. See all our coffee and side tables to compare storage and open designs.
For a matching set, add the Pops Side Drawer, the same white or black high-gloss with two drawers on a gold base, as an end table. The Gold TV Console, white with gold handles and gold legs, carries the same look across the room. See all TV consoles.
High gloss: wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it straight after, so water marks do not set. Avoid abrasive pads and strong cleaners, which dull the shine, and use coasters under hot or wet cups. Wipe the gold frame with a soft dry cloth only.
