The Dyron sofa, high density foam with electroplated gold, as a 220cm 3-seater, 165cm 2-seater or 110cm armsofa; sofas on sale are all ready stock.
Two details set the Dyron apart. The back is channel tufted, with vertical stitched lines running up the backrest and round the arms, and each arm has an electroplated gold panel cut in a geometric pattern on its outer side. The gold shows most from the side and the front corners, so it works well where the sofa is seen side-on from the dining area or the door.
At 85cm front to back and 70cm high, it is a low, compact frame for its length. The 165cm 2-seater fits along a short HDB living room wall, and an armsofa beside a 3-seater makes an L-shaped seating corner without the bulk of a sectional. A common guide is the two-thirds rule: the sofa should take up about two-thirds of the wall it sits against, and the coffee table about two-thirds of the sofa's length. By that rule, the 220cm 3-seater suits a wall of about 3.3m, and the 165cm 2-seater a wall of about 2.5m. Leave around 45cm between the sofa and the coffee table so you can walk past and still reach your cup.
