The Chill sofa is a modular sofa sold piece by piece: a 90 x 90cm square cube, a cube with backrest, a cube with backrest and armrest, or a 90 x 60cm rectangle bench.
Every piece is built from deep, rounded cushions stitched into soft rolls, so the sofa looks like a row of padded blocks. Two cubes with backrest make a loveseat, armrest pieces at each end turn a row into a 3-seater, and a square cube or bench in front becomes a chaise or footstool. Because each piece travels on its own, a modular sofa is easier to get up a small lift and through a narrow door than a one-piece sofa of the same length. It also rearranges when you move house or change the room.
Often, yes. You buy only the seats you have room for, and you can shape them to the room: a straight row along one wall, an L into a corner, or two separate chairs. Individual pieces are also easier to deliver in HDB blocks with small lifts. The catch is that loose pieces can drift apart on a smooth floor, so a rug underneath helps keep them together. Fabric: vacuum with a brush attachment every week or two, blot spills at once with a clean cloth rather than rubbing, and keep it out of strong direct sun to slow fading.
