The Coffee sofa in light grey boucle, as a 297 x 297cm U-shape, an L-shape, or a 230cm 3-seater, 178cm 2-seater or 118cm 1-seater.
Despite the name, this is a light grey boucle sofa, not a coffee-brown one. It is a curved sofa built from soft, rounded blocks: thick arms with rounded ends, a seat whose front edge sweeps in a gentle wave, and a low back that runs straight into the arms. The feet are small and set back, so it sits close to the floor and the boucle texture does the work.
The pieces are modular, so the same design covers a single armchair up to a large corner arrangement. The U-shape suits a condo living room that can take a 3m by 3m seating corner; the 3-seater or 2-seater fits along one wall in an HDB flat. At 99cm front to back the seat is deep, which suits lounging more than upright sitting.
Mostly, yes. Boucle is woven from looped yarn, and the texture hides light marks and crumbs better than a flat fabric. Dry dirt vacuums out with a brush head, and most spills lift if you blot them straight away with a damp cloth rather than rubbing, which pushes the stain into the loops. The weak point is snagging: cat claws, zips and velcro can pull a loop, so a home with a scratching cat may be better with a flat-weave fabric.
