A deep tech fabric sofa with down cushions, 105cm from front to back, as a 218cm 3-seater, 170cm 2-seater or 100cm armsofa, in a colour customised by pre-order.
The look is soft and slouchy: wide pillow-top arms that fold over the sides, a gathered front panel along the base, and loose back and scatter cushions. With down filling, it is a cloud-style sofa that you sink into rather than sit up on.
The tech fabric cover has a matt, leather-like look, as the tan, grey and blue photos show, with the softer feel of a fabric. At 105cm deep it needs room in front of it; in a smaller HDB living room, the 2-seater or a single armsofa may sit better than the 3-seater.
Tech fabric, sometimes called technology cloth, is a fine woven fabric with a treated surface that gives it a soft, leather-like finish. Compared with leather, it feels less sticky on bare skin in Singapore's heat and does not crack or peel the way cheap PU leather can. Compared with ordinary fabric, spills tend to sit on the surface for a moment, so you have time to wipe them up. It is not scratch-proof, so sharp pet claws can still pull at it over time. See all our sofas and armchairs to compare upholstery.
A deep, soft sofa needs a table with some weight to it. The Jewel 1.2m sintered stone coffee table is in proportion with the 3-seater, the Dex pair of sintered stone tables on black stands suits the darker colours, and the Troy marble or sintered stone side table fits beside an arm. Fabric: vacuum with a brush attachment every week or two, blot spills at once with a clean cloth rather than rubbing, and keep it out of strong direct sun to slow fading.
Down cushions: plump and turn the cushions every few days so the filling spreads evenly and the seat keeps its shape.
Measure your lift and doorways before you order: a piece that cannot go up in the lift is carried up the stairs at an extra charge. Delivery slots, assembly and self-collection are explained in our FAQ.
